The Baha'i Teachings describe a spiritual method of decision making that we call consultation. When a problem or opportunity exists and we need to make a decision this procedure is used. After prayer, the situation (the problem or opportunity) is examined to determine what spiritual and social principles are involved. Then individuals offer proposals. When someone offers a proposal, he detachs himself from it as it becomes the property of the whole group. Each person tries to consider each proposal as if it comes from the entire group rather than from some individual. Do you have thoughts on this?
